Tactile Expressions is a contemporary fiber arts collective. The group was formed in the spring of 1995, when a number of women active in fiber art decided to gather to exchange ideas and information, to critique their work, and to gain inspiration from one another.


We support self-expression, originality and creativity through fiber arts. By sharing our knowledge we encourage our members to explore new ideas and techniques.


Collectively and individually we have exhibited locally, nationally and internationally. Our work is represented in both private and public collections and has been published in national magazines and books.


Our members travel from throughout the Willamette Valley and the Oregon Coast for our monthly meetings in Eugene, Oregon.
